Exchanges and Refund Policy
All shipments of loose diamonds arrive with our 14-day money back guarantee. Our 14-day money back guarantee begins once the package is received by you, the consumer. All loose diamonds have a price guarantee; if you find a better price, then we will match the price and return you 10% of the difference. Price guarantee is only valid if the GIA certificate matches exactly in all aspects of grading (includes carat weight, measurements, color grade, clarity grade, table, depth, girdle, fluorescence, & GIA comments). FULL TRADE IN VALUE accepted when accompanied by an original receipt from May Diamonds.
May Diamonds gives 7 days for exchange or refund of custom-made diamond rings upon the arrival of merchandise. Custom-made diamond rings include any loose diamonds set into any setting. We allow 7 days for the exchange or refund of any loose diamonds. On showcase jewelry, we allow 14 days exchange or refund from the retrieval date of your merchandise. Showcase jewelry includes settings (without set loose stones), earrings, ladies’ bands, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, and men’s jewelry. Our exchange and refund policies begin once the package has been received by you, the customer.
If you are not completely satisfied with your diamond for any reason, you must contact our professional service staff to receive an authorization code for your return within 5 days from your receipt of your diamond. BEFORE YOU SEND THE DIAMOND BACK, you must receive a RMA (return merchandise authorization) from our customer service representatives and this number must be written on the original receipt.
Once May Diamonds receives your returned merchandise, we will credit your account in full, less a 3% restocking fee on all credit card purchases or 1% restocking fee for money order, cashier’s check, or personal checks. Please give 1 - 4 weeks from the day we receive your returned merchandise for your refund to be issued. During holiday periods, refund processing may take longer than 1-4 weeks. Refunds will be processed as follows: If you paid by check, money order, or cashier’s check; May Diamonds will issue you a check in the amount of the full purchase price of the item exclusive of delivery charges and 1% restocking fee. If you paid by credit card, the full purchase price of the item exclusive of delivery charges and 3% restocking fee will be returned back to your credit card. The returned item or items must be new and unused and must include with it all of its original receipt, original packaging, and any additional materials (certificates or appraisals). The tag labeled "Not Returnable If Tag Removed" must be attached to the item. If the tag is detached, then the item is NOT Returnable.
